  1. Unfortunately for some reason BBM was better for business. You could start a channel and people could find you. WhatsApp doesn't let you do that, instead becoming an excellent means of creating grouped communications. The DPs and statuses can be used for branding.

    1. That's absolutely right. You can only create Groups in Whatsapp, but that is also not so useful as people may leave the group if you just keep posting your promotional stuff. You should mix it up up some Entertainment factor in it otherwise people won't care about you!

  2. I agreed with desicreative that BBM is better than whatsapp for business but the problem is BBM isn't improving and that was why whatsapp take over from them. Let's hope that whatsapp developers will include better features soon for business. I really hope so.

    1. I really agree with you on this. Whatsapp is not too much inclined to make its platform for business promotion straight away. But, it has very useful features which can be used for marketing if done smartly. I have seen people bluntly adding their contacts into a group and then posting promotional massages blindly. It's not going to work that way. you have to work subtly on it to market your business.
